With Drew Brees next on the agenda I'm just wondering how the Bucs are going to keep in this game? I think that the Bucs will likely be down by by 14 in the 2nd quarter. at that point Morris will abandon the running game and Freeman will... Anyway 1-9 coming up! __________________ Its better to be Lucky than good |

Last home game against the Packs was fun because I got to stay the entire game. I do think home field advantage will help! The Saints are 31st or were in special teams and that is were we have to take advantage. Freeman will play better at home and we haven't seen him play a complete consistent game. He is young so expect mistakes but the future looks bright with him. I hope the saints try to bury us quick with passes and our defense steps up on turnovers. If the saints were smart they would pound us with the run and lights out for the Bucs. They probably won't and scoring drives will have smaller time of possession. Bucs will be in the game at the end and complete a pass on 4th down but loose on a booth reversal.
Saints 28 Bucs 24 with no booth call Saints 28 Bucs 31 |

The booth call is interesting. Being totally honest, the last two teams that played the Bucs (Packers and Miami) played some of the worst football they've played all season. Freeman looks like he will develop into a good qb, unfortunately, team ownership won't spend the money to get him more protection and receivers that can catch (Winslow excepted).
I'm hoping for 1-15 and a good draft pick. Going 2-14 or 3-13 won't make us feel any better so why bother gambling away that top pick. I'll take my lumps and look to improve next season when our younger players have a year under their belts. I don't mind rebuilding as long as we do it consistently. |

Zakarian I'm with ya as far as this season being over but if the Bucs won't spend money on offense or receivers than their not going to spend money on a top pick. Back in 96 when Dungy's team started 0-5 and finished 6-10 that was only a 6-5 finish. He kept telling the players be patient and keep believing in the system. Raheem has got to get the players to believe in him so next year the team has more focus. As far as Miami and Packers. We beat the pack with the sacks and that is their weak point. Miami's wildcat was kicking our butt and Henne threw the pick , his weak point. Also our special teams looked good and contributed to almost 2 wins in row. It will be a year Nov,30 since we did that. |

I want to see how the Saints do OUTSIDE their dome. What kind of running game do they have? I look for Talib and Jackson to have a good game but unfortunately Brees knows how to spread the ball around. The Saints aren't like the Bucs - they actually have mutiple good receivers. Speaking of which will Bryant get his lazy azz into the game? 9.7 million for what? I'd like to see Sammy S. start as well as Stovall and Winslow. Clayton - bench. But I don't think the Bucs have a chance this Sunday. __________________ Its better to be Lucky than good |

We will lose, but for some reason its not so bad knowing that Freeman is growing as a QB. And its only the 9 game of the season and Ra just noticed that our D-line sucks. |

Hey what happened? I guess when you write it bigger it just makes everyone realize how little you know doesn't it? If saving something enough, if yelling something loud enough worked don't you think the Bucs would have done that by now? the Bucs are terrible and will continue to be terrible for the remainder of this and probably next year as well. Get used to it and please stop screaming - we know you really don't know sports that well. PS I hope you didn't bet your paycheck on this game __________________ Its better to be Lucky than good |

Mr Lucky, You must be some kind of tool to think that using capital letters or large letters is considered yelling.... You must be a real sensitive sort...if you think that slient strokes on a key board can offend your sensibilities. I have two computers a lap top and a 32 inch screen for my desk top....both are very bad for any type of reading with small print...especially (10 pt). I think everyone should use larger lettering. The bigger the better....that is of course unless it is really going to send you into a hissy fit. By the way seeing how I thought the bucs would win, it seems like it was Raheems fault. Play calling.... Use of Challenges..... etc... |

Theo With regard to the print size, I agree that 10pt font is too small. If you notice 90% of my posts are in 12 point. However whenever people post in all CAPS or extremely large font, as you did, it implies that they (poster) is screaming. If that was not your intention then I apologize. With regard to this game - the Bucs don't have the talent that New Orleans has. Right now there are very few teams that the Bucs has a shot a beating: Cleveland, Detroit, Oakland, Seattle & Kansas City The coaching has been and continues to be poor. Once again the Bucs defense just gave up by the 3rd quarter - the team has turned into quitters and until the offense can prove that they can score the defense will continue to stink up the field.

I'm surprised........ What in the world would make anyone think that the Bucs would even compete in this game? Our excellent defense? Our physical running offense that takes shots down field? The next hall of Fame QB - Freeman? Our HC's experience & ability to make quality calls in critical situations? I would continue the discussion on thread print size and ditch the football predictions. Their team has talent - ours don't! Their team has a REAL coaching staff - our's don't! Like Sileo said this morning, I think Bucs fans are happier now at 1-9 than last year at 9-3. Pathetic. __________________ How does the crow taste Gruden haters? |
