It would appear that the threads concerning Dan and the station's handling of this situation have been pulled off the bullentin board - you have got to love free speech in this country versus big bucks - you gotta love it

Ok, Please stop using Freedom of speech stuff. Did you get arrested or shot, no, then you have the freedom. This is a board owned by a private company, and just like you have the freedom to write what you want , they have the freedom to take it down.
Personally WDAE did the right thing and if Dan used bad facts, he should appologize and be suspended. I like the show but right is right.

I can't see how he could get suspened, he did all the w's. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy. I tune him off 95% of the time and just listen to music until Ron and Ian go on air, but I did listen Thurs. He is the most Racist, and down right nasty to his callers, and this time he was so sure of his facts LOL Seeya Dan maybe you can get a new job near your beloved Yankees and help their attendance. Right or wrong it's great without him.

I love this crap ! Sileo and fellow liar DEUMIG make statements every day that are proven to be wrong or a lie.His secret people that feed him facts are always said to be at fault when it was a lie! LIFE IS GOOD!

The big difference bewteen Dan and Duemig is the fact check aspect. The proof is in the pudding. The Glasers went on the offensive immediately against Dan because they could refute the allegation and have a strong case if they wish to persue legal action.. They didn't with Deumig and I think that speaks volumes.

yeah I posted the link of dan sileo getting in trouble then they took it down, I guess since its there board they can do whatever they want.. lol it sucks because everyone had something to talk about besides the world series |

I disagree, it says nothing. IMO, in his broadcast last week Dan mentioned a few other owners of professional franchises in much the same fashion as he mentioned the Glazers, it would be surprising if the Glazers got a phone call or two asking them to clean up the mess in their city.

Please enlighten us as to what Dan said last week that was"in the same fashion" as he spoke about the Glasers. Did he also accuse other owners of losing their fortunes in the Madoff scandal and say they now have to sell their teams as well? Just curious.

Holy Crap! The Buc and Glaser comments were bad enough. The layers of his accusations run pretty deep. He really needed to do his homework before he ran with this and not take the word of an alleged friend. He may be toast!

I would love to see what he was reading from, Dan isn't known for putting in his off hours preparing for a show, so the odds of him creating all that information is fairly nil. Still say it was the other names that put the heat on the Glazers to handle their own backyard.

I've stopped listening to Dan for a while since he proved that he was a race-baiter and made comments that showed he did not prepare for his shows.
He injects politics into his sports shows which is unfortunate. I have no idea why he got in trouble since I don't listen anymore. But, Sileo is one of th eworst sports boradcasters I've heard in 25 years.
What's amazing is that there was not mroe outrage when he blatantly and purposefully repeated the now proven false statements alelgedly made by Rush. Fact checking does not exist for Dan. That San Fran experience is showing through.

You need to grow up a little. Did Dan really saying anything THAT Bad, if he was wrong.
This is all about Talk Radio "calling out" the current direction of the Bucs on a daily basis.
Lets face it the Glazers decisions have been running this team into the ground. For one of them to lawyer up and start making a big deal over this, does not sound very football like.
Maybe the Glazers should buy a Gymnastics team if they can't handle talk radio calling them out.
And WDAE....Grow a pair and bring Dan back on.
Its not like he made a racial comment or swore......
Everyone just MAN UP.....
This kind of stuff makes makes me want to take someone's lunch money away from them at recess.
